kartik-mem0 84a1318f71 docs(n8n,zapier): rewrite both integration pages in the task-first house style
Both pages opened with an endpoint table and left the reader to work out
setup themselves. Restructure them the way the stronger integration pages
read: problem statement, prerequisites with API-key links, a Steps-based
setup with a verification callout, a runnable quickstart, then the field
reference, then troubleshooting.

Every documented field is checked against the source rather than a schema:
the Zapier action input fields come from src/creates and src/searches, and
Wait for Completion is correctly documented as off by default there (it is
on by default in n8n). Adds the n8n self-hosted-only prerequisite and the
Zapier App Directory availability note, both of which users hit first.

kartik-mem0 29601e54f4 fix(n8n): restore App ID, Includes and Excludes, add App ID filters
Reverts the removal in 2a61fe1a. That commit dropped app_id, includes and
excludes from Add because docs/openapi.json does not declare them on
POST /v3/memories/add/. The schema is incomplete: probing the live endpoint
shows all three are accepted and honoured.

- app_id is persisted and is queryable via /v3/memories/search/ and
/v3/memories/, so the entity-id guard accepts it again as a valid scope
- includes/excludes demonstrably steer extraction. The same message stored
three memories unfiltered and one under
includes: "only record food and diet preferences"

Search and Get Many gain an App ID filter alongside User/Agent/Run. Writing
an app-scoped memory was otherwise unreadable from this node, and app_id is
how the OpenCode and Pi Agent plugins express project scope.

buildEntityFilters now takes the ids as an object rather than four adjacent
positional strings, so a fifth entity is a one-key change.

kartik-mem0 a8e2a49209 fix(n8n): escape ids in URLs, add agent/run filters, run tests in CI
Three review findings on the Mem0 n8n node:

- Memory IDs and event IDs were interpolated raw into request paths, so a
value containing / or .. could reach a different endpoint than intended.
Wrap all four sites in encodeURIComponent.

- Search and Get Many could only filter by user_id, leaving agent- and
run-scoped memories unreachable from the node. Both now accept User ID,
Agent ID, and Run ID. Multiple ids combine with OR because Mem0 indexes
entities separately and an AND across them matches nothing. User ID is
no longer marked required; the node still fails with a clear message
when all three are empty, rather than letting the API return a raw 400.

- n8n-nodes-mem0-checks.yml ran lint and build but never the jest suite,
so the tests could rot unnoticed. Add a test job matching the layout of
  pi-agent-plugin-checks.yml.

Tests cover flat single-entity filters, the OR combination, agent-only
listing, the empty-entity guard on both operations, and id escaping in
the get/delete/poll URLs. Docs and README document the new fields and the
OR semantics.

kartik-mem0 2a61fe1a32 fix(n8n): drop Add fields the v3 API does not accept, correct docs
The Add operation exposed app_id, includes, and excludes in Additional
Fields and forwarded them to POST /v3/memories/add/. None of the three
are declared on that endpoint's schema (they belong to MemoryInput, used
by POST /v1/memories/), so they were silently dropped by the server.

app_id was worse than a no-op: the entity-id guard accepted it as
satisfying "at least one entity id", so filling only App ID passed local
validation and then sent a v3 request carrying no scope v3 recognises.
The guard now requires User ID, Agent ID, or Run ID.

Docs corrections alongside it:
- Add: document Custom Instructions and Custom Categories, which the
node has always supported but the docs never mentioned
- Get Many: document Return All, which the docs omitted entirely
- README: Infer and Wait for Completion are independent controls; the
README claimed infer=false returns synchronously, contradicting the
node's own field description and its actual behaviour

kartik-mem0 84ace27f27 chore(n8n): license the node under Apache-2.0 to match the monorepo
Every other publishable integration (@mem0/pi-agent-plugin,
@mem0/openclaw-mem0, @mem0/vercel-ai-provider) and the repo root ship
Apache-2.0. The n8n node carried MIT from the n8n starter template.

LICENSE is now byte-identical to integrations/pi-agent-plugin/LICENSE.

eslint-plugin-n8n-nodes-base hard-codes MIT in
community-package-json-license-not-default, so that rule is disabled.
It is a starter-template convention, not a functional requirement: n8n
resolves and loads community packages without reading the license field,
and n8n's own node packages (n8n-nodes-base, @n8n/n8n-nodes-langchain)
publish as "SEE LICENSE IN LICENSE.md" rather than MIT.

kartik-mem0 7495ab67ad chore(n8n): add pnpm security overrides and refresh the lockfile
The n8n node was the only integration without a `pnpm.overrides` block,
so its tree carried 9 advisories (7 high, 2 moderate) that
pi-agent-plugin, openclaw, and vercel-ai-sdk already pin out. Adds the
same block, scoped to the packages actually present in this tree
(`esbuild` and `undici` are not, so their sibling entries are omitted
rather than carried over as dead config).

Down to 2 from 9. Both remaining are GHSA-mh99-v99m-4gvg on the 1.x and
2.x brace-expansion lines, whose fix shipped only in 5.0.8 with no
backport. Forcing those lines to 5.x does clear the audit but breaks
`gulp build`: rimraf -> glob -> minimatch@9 imports brace-expansion as a
default export, which the 5.x ESM build does not provide.

Replacement ranges are capped per major rather than left open like the
siblings'. An unbounded `uuid >=11.1.1` resolves to 14.x, which is
pure ESM and cannot be required by n8n-workflow under Jest's CJS
runtime.

All dev-only: the published package still declares zero runtime
dependencies, so none of this reaches an installed node. lint, build,
and the 5 tests pass; `pnpm install --frozen-lockfile` is clean.

kartik-mem0 a618939f00 chore(n8n): publish under the scoped @mem0/n8n-nodes-mem0 name
The unscoped `n8n-nodes-mem0` name is already taken on npm by an
unrelated publisher, so the CD workflow could never publish it. Move to
the `@mem0` scope, matching `@mem0/pi-agent-plugin` and
`@mem0/openclaw-mem0`, and add `publishConfig.access: public` since
scoped packages default to restricted.

n8n accepts scoped community packages: it strips the scope before
enforcing the `n8n-nodes-` prefix, the same shape as n8n's own
`@n8n/n8n-nodes-langchain`. Verified end to end on n8n 2.22.6 by
installing the packed tarball into the community-packages directory and
executing a workflow against node type `@mem0/n8n-nodes-mem0.mem0`.

The directory, workflow filenames, and the `n8n-nodes-mem0-v*` tag
prefix are unchanged. pnpm-lock.yaml needs no update: the pnpm v9 root
importer is anonymous and never recorded the package name.

Himanshu-Sangshetti 7417f87252 fix(n8n): address review feedback and pass the verification scanner
- Telemetry: replace client-side PostHog (which read process.env, banned in
verified nodes) with first-party `source: "N8N"` attribution on API requests,
mirroring OpenClaw. Removes the undisclosed-collection concern entirely.
- Verification-scanner fixes: add credential icon, use NodeConnectionTypes.Main
instead of the 'main' literal, wrap error paths in NodeApiError, stop shipping
.d.ts / tsbuildinfo, and align the local eslint config with the scanner.
- Add offline unit tests (jest): entity-id guard, JSON-parse errors, poll-timeout
loop, source attribution, and Return All pagination.
- Get Many: add a Return All option that pages through all memories.
- Docs: README telemetry note and an AGENTS.md Key Directories row.

Verified: build + tsc + eslint + 5 unit tests + live E2E against api.mem0.ai, and
the packed tarball passes @n8n/scan-community-package with zero violations.

Himanshu-Sangshetti 41a9701d7f feat(integrations): add n8n community node for Mem0
A programmatic n8n community node wrapping the hosted Mem0 v3 REST API:
add, search, get, get-many, update, delete, plus usableAsTool so the n8n
AI Agent can call it.

- Zero runtime dependencies (calls REST directly), TypeScript, ESLint clean —
  meets n8n verified-node requirements
- Add supports custom_instructions, custom_categories, includes, excludes,
a client-side entity-id guard, and async event polling (itemIndex on errors)
- Anonymous opt-out telemetry (MEM0_TELEMETRY=false)
- Docs page + docs.json/llms.txt entry, ci-gate + release wiring, AGENTS.md rows
- Verified: tsc + ESLint + live E2E (add → search → get → delete) vs api.mem0.ai

Split out of #6057 per review (separate PRs per integration).

<Update label="2026-07-30" description="n8n and Zapier integrations">
**Workflow Automation: Mem0 Memory in n8n and Zapier**
Mem0 now plugs into two no-code automation platforms, so workflows that used to start from zero on every run can store durable facts and recall them later.
- **n8n community node:** [`@mem0/n8n-nodes-mem0`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@mem0/n8n-nodes-mem0) adds a **Mem0** node with a Memory resource covering Add, Search, Get, Get Many, Update, and Delete. Install it from **Settings → Community Nodes** on a self-hosted instance, then connect your API key once as a Mem0 API credential. See [n8n](/integrations/n8n).
- **n8n AI Agent tool:** Attach the same node to an [AI Agent](https://docs.n8n.io/advanced-ai/) node and it becomes a tool the agent calls on its own, so it can decide when to remember and when to recall.
- **Zapier app:** Add Memory, Search Memories, Get Memories, and Delete Memory actions let any of Zapier's thousands of apps write and read Mem0 context with no code and no server. See [Zapier](/integrations/zapier).
- **One-time connection:** Both integrations authenticate with a single Mem0 API key and default to `https://api.mem0.ai`, with a configurable base URL for self-hosted deployments.
<Note>
The Zapier app is not yet listed in Zapier's public App Directory. Email [support@mem0.ai](mailto:support@mem0.ai) for an invite link.

**Changes:**
- **Published with npm provenance:** Republished through the `n8n-nodes-mem0-cd.yml` GitHub Actions workflow so the package carries a signed provenance attestation. `0.1.0` was published manually and has none, which blocks submission for n8n Creator Portal verification. **Initial release** of [`@mem0/n8n-nodes-mem0`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@mem0/n8n-nodes-mem0), a community node that adds long-term memory to n8n workflows and AI Agents ([#6517](https://github.com/mem0ai/mem0/pull/6517))
**New Features:**
- **Memory operations:** A single **Mem0** node covers Add, Search, Get, Get Many, Update, and Delete on the Memory resource.
- **AI Agent tool:** The node sets `usableAsTool`, so it can be attached to an n8n AI Agent node and invoked by the agent itself rather than wired into a fixed workflow path.
- **Scoping:** Add, Search, and Get Many accept User ID, Agent ID, App ID, and Run ID, so memories stay partitioned per user, agent, or session.
- **Add options:** Metadata JSON, custom categories, custom instructions, includes/excludes, an `infer` toggle, and a **Wait for Completion** switch that polls until the write lands instead of returning immediately.
- **Pagination:** Get Many supports Return All, or explicit Page and Page Size.
- **Credential:** A **Mem0 API** credential holds the API key plus a configurable base URL, defaulting to `https://api.mem0.ai` for self-hosted deployments.
<Note>
Community nodes install from npm, which is a self-hosted n8n feature. See [n8n](/integrations/n8n) for setup.

- **Actions:** Add Memory and Delete Memory.
- **Searches:** Search Memories and Get Memories, usable as lookup steps in any Zap.
- **Authentication:** An API key connection validated against Mem0 the moment it is saved, sent as `Authorization: Token <key>`, with a configurable base URL for self-hosted deployments.
**Bug Fixes:**
- **Add Memory:** Raise the poll budget past the real API latency tail, so a slower write is no longer reported as a failure ([#6680](https://github.com/mem0ai/mem0/pull/6680))
